Where the Old West meets the New West, at Shooting Star in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, you will find the most recently and critically acclaimed golf club in the Western United States. Set between the Snake River Ranch, a working cattle operation since the 1930s, and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Shooting Star has one foot in Jackson Hole's rich ranching heritage and another in its newer incarnation as a world-class skiing and outdoor recreation area. Waterways dot the landscape, including Fish Creek, a Class I trout stream.
With 1,300 acres of lands protected by conservation easements and views of three mountain ranges, including the world renowned Tetons, Shooting Star is a place where you feel one with nature, and yet is a short drive to the galleries, shops and restaurants of downtown Jackson.
The new Jackson Hole golf club includes a Par 72, Tom Fazio designed 18-hole core golf course that measures up over 7500 yards from the back tees. All the homesites and cabins are set on the north side of the community, allowing the golf course to play undisturbed from tee to green.
The development will proceed according to a carefully crafted master plan that respects the property's natural beauty. Development is limited to a total of 100 home sites and 82 cabins or lodges.
